| "On the Wall" I can aways tell when the season is coming. Right now it's autumn. The breeze rustles the leaves in the trees, but the sound stops when I touch them. The hair in my face shows me the wind. I think I can hear it whisper my name.
The sky I see is cloudless. There are no creatures to be found. But the richness of the pale blue makes me feel sound. I'm absorbed by the simple hue that looks over our feeble bodies for half the day. And then navy with the ivory moon come out to play.
Magnolia I'm always happy to see you. Your shiny feather-shaped leaves reflect the truth. To me you are a mystery cos I cant see behind your greenery. I'd like to stay underneath your shade forever because I think you're the only one listening.
"Untitled" Feed the engine some gas because we dont have any feet or legs that are capable of moving our bodies. The city wont sleep. We wont ever stop moving forward. There is no time for silence. And if there is... no one will buy it. What happened to the days of yore when the sun rose above the canyons and eagles soared? Because now it only sets behind towers of light The energy that illuminates our night. Sirens wail instead of ringing bells. Toxic gases-- we fell under the spell. We are the busy bees but we serve no queen Only the city we call our king.
